What is recorded here

Graveslab in Unknown Townland holds two 17th century stones in the SE corner of the chancel, one for Richard Treswell d. 1672 and one for the Ryves family from 1647. They lie where chancel light falls thin, marking names that survived the loss of their townland. Whatever lives around them has forgotten more than it remembers, but the stones still speak in the language of name and date.
