Graveslab in Rathmichael

This graveslab is a Rathdown-type slab with a slightly raised central band on which are two cup-marks, joined by a single line (L 0.95m, Wth. 0.65m). The spaces on each side of the band are filled with herringbone pattern. Both ends of this slab appear to be fractured and it is secured to the W face of the buttress on the S wall of Rathmichael church (DU026-050002-) (Ó hÉailidhe 1957, 56, 57). The church lies on the E slopes of Carrickgollogan. See attached drawing of graveslab taken from Healy 2009, 85.
