Graveslab in Portumna Demesne is a recumbent memorial slab for the Madden family dating to 1648, lying on the chancel floor beside the west wall. Its stepped Latin cross carries fleur-de-lis tips, a triskele in the right arm, and an IHS monogram above the head, while Latin inscriptions mark it as a family memorial. The plain shaft and base contrast with the decorated lozenge, making the slab feel like a quiet claim of identity preserved beneath a friary church.

This recumbent graveslab (L 1.98m; max. Wth 0.76; base Wth 0.71; T 0.13m) is on the floor in the chancel of the friary church (GA127-019----), adjacent to the W wall. It bears a framed stepped Latin cross in false relief. The head and arms consist of a central lozenge which end in fleur-de-lis motifs. A triskele is visible in that on the right arm. There is also a small decorated roundel in the centre of the lozenge. The IHS monogram is visible above the head of the cross and a small cross rises from the cross-bar of the letter H. The base and shaft are plain. An inscription beneath the base is in Latin. Within the frame around the sides and base of the slab another inscription indicates that this is a memorial slab to the Madden family dating to 1648.
