Graveslab in Portumna Demesne lies fractured on the floor of the S transept, bearing a stepped Latin cross and the name Dermot Meagh Er of Cloncr. The inscription records his death on 27 April 1681, fixing a personal ending inside the older rhythm of the friary. Its false-relief lozenge and fleur-de-lis details suggest craft, pride and devotion rather than mere burial.

This fractured recumbent graveslab (L 2.14m; Wth across top 0.79m; base Wth 0.74m; T 0.07m) is on the floor of the S transept of the friary church (GA127-019----). It bears a stepped Latin cross in false relief. The head and arms consist of a central lozenge which end in fleur-de-lis motifs. An IHS monogram fills the centre of the lozenge and a small cross rises from the cross-bar of the letter H. The shaft and base are undecorated. An inscription below the cross read: HERE LYETH THE BOD Y OF DERMOT MEAGH ER OF CLONCR??
