Graveslab in Newtown Lower

7m W of Newtown Lennon church (TS079-015001-) and 3m S of the N wall of the graveyard (TS079-015003-) there is a coffin-shaped graveslab. The sandstone slab (L 1.66m; Wth at top 0.44m; Wth at base 0.26m; D 0.2m) is broken, horizontally, into four pieces. It has a chamfer (Wth 0.05m) around the edge and is decorated with a five-armed cross with fleur-de-lys terminals, the cross-shaft also terminates with a fleur-de-lis.
