Graveslab in Inishcaltra OR Holy Island is a narrow stone edge of a composite grave in the eastern half of the Saint’s graveyard on Inis Cealtra. It lies 3.3m from the east wall of Teampul na bhFear nGonta and 2.05m from the north graveyard wall, marking a buried life rather than a grand monument. The western end bears the inscription “+ OR DO THRESSACH +” with crosses at both ends, while at least one S appears reversed. A shallow hollow on the south face near the east end may have helped fit the grave together. Macalister drew the slab wider and unnumbered in his 1916-17 plan, but the surviving stone is slender, plain and firmly set within the old graveyard.

Situated in the E half of the Saint’s graveyard (CL029-009030-) on Inis Cealtra, 3.3m from the E wall of Teampul na bhFear nGonta (CL029-009015-) and 2.05m from the N wall of the graveyard. A narrow slab (L 1.35m E-W; Wth at top 0.12m; Wth at base 0.1m) forming the N edge of a composite grave (CL029-009210-). The slab is drawn as a wider, undecorated and unnumbered slab on Macalister’s plan of the graveyard (1916-17, pl. XV). An inscription at the W end reads ‘+ OR DO THRESSACH +’ with a cross at the beginning and the end. At least one of the S's is reversed. A mortise-like hollow on the S face of the slab at the E end may be related to the construction of the composite grave.
