In the crowded Saint’s graveyard on Inis Cealtra, one forgotten slab lies flat in the northeast corner. It is short, narrow, and marked only by a single oval quartz inclusion near its base. That small bright shape may have guided a mourner’s eye or simply appeared when the stone was cut. The dead person remains unknown, but the marble still holds the shape of the body that rested beneath it.

Situated in the NE corner of the ‘Saint’s graveyard’ (CL029-009030-) on Inis Cealtra, 7.25m from the N wall and 2.2m from the E wall. An recumbent graveslab (L1.34m; Wth 0.5m) drawn but not numbered on Macalister’s plan of the graveyard (1916-17, pl. XV).
