Graveslab in Holycross

Located in second S transept chapel furthest chapel away to S of chancel, recumbent grave slab lying at base of S wall of chapel. Well preserved but worn tapered slab ( L 1.92m; Top Wth 0.73m ; Base Wth 0.75m) lying on the surface of the S chapel. The surface is decorated with a tri-lobed cross head with a single letter in each lobe, line and knop below cross-head. Symbols of our Lords passion depicted on the slab. The cross-shaft rises from a stepped-base. An inscription runs around all four edges of the slab.
