Eight graveslabs in total, almost all of which are sandstone, are located within the nave of the cathedral (WA040-008002-), E of the doorway in the N wall. This is the most westerly of four inside the S wall and is a shale (dims. 1.82m x 0.38-0.56m; T 0.11m) with a chamfered edge. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 20 Octiber, 2011
Medieval Christian graveslab; dates to the late medieval period. It is part of a group of funerary monuments within the cathedral, reflecting local burial practices and stone-carving traditions of the time.
