What is recorded here

Gravel Ridge Island is a 1.15-hectare islet in County Fermanagh, declared an Area of Special Scientific Interest on 30 September 2009 for its land, landscapes and biodiversity. The name suggests a shallow gravel bar where water once flowed around a ridge of stones, perhaps exposing a walking path during low summer levels. People may have crossed it to reach the far bank before roads and bridges changed the shape of the county.
Gravel Ridge Island is recorded as a islet in County Fermanagh. Its open map record supplies this location and any linked names or public references.
