Grave Yd.

Known as the Church of St. Bridget (Carrigan 1905, vol. 2, 59-60). A late medieval parish church (LA028-035) constructed of roughly coursed limestone. Some uninscribed grave-markers visible. A rectangular shaped graveyard (int. dims. 35m N-S; 20m E-W) enclosed by a stone wall containing post 1700 AD memorials. Church (LA028-035) in N quadrant of graveyard. Described by Carrigan as 'The adjoining graveyard is now rarely used for Catholic interments; Protestant interments, too, are almost discontinued' (Carrigan 1905, vol. 2, 60).
