What is recorded here
Grave Yd. is St. Fintan's graveyard on the east side of Doon, where a post-1700 stone wall still holds a rectangular plot measuring about 47m north-south and 67m east-west. Memorials from the 18th century to the present day mark the lives of people who lived, loved and died beneath that sky. The church site in the north-east quadrant suggests worship and burial once shared one breath, while the modern extension shows the community still speaking to its dead.
