What is recorded here
Grave Yd. (Disused) is a small, abandoned graveyard beside a late-medieval parish church in County Longford, Ireland. It measures about 22 metres northwest to southeast and 21 metres northeast to southwest, with the church occupying most of its northwest end. Dense growth covered the memorials when last seen, hiding the names and shapes of the dead beneath a thick green quilt. The place still holds its quiet weight, waiting for someone to pull back the vegetation and remember what it buried.
Associated with a late-medieval parish church (LF008-014001-), which occupies most of its NW end. This disused subrectangular graveyard (22m NW-SE; 21m NE-SW) was densely overgrown when visited rendering inspection of the memorials impossible. (Lennon 2005)
