What is recorded here

Grave Yard in Shanagolden, County Limerick, holds generations of people beneath an unbroken stone wall that has resisted every attempt to erase them. The belfry still stands where the old church disappeared, marking the exact spot where memory refused to leave.
Rectangular shaped graveyard (approx. dims. 40m N-S x 86m E-W) enclosed by post 1700 stone wall with 19th century belfry standing at W end of levelled C of I church which was built on W end of 13th century parish church (LI019-012001-) of Shanagolden.
