What is recorded here

Kilcolman Graveyard sits atop a Cork hillock, its D-shaped stone wall enclosing rows of low markers and the fragmentary remains of a parish church. Last used in the 1930s, it has surrendered active worship but kept its shape: a quiet field where unnamed dead lie beneath tillage and memory. The church is gone except for ruins, yet the graveyard still points to it, holding what the building could no longer carry.

In tillage, atop hillock; access across field. Roughly D-shaped graveyard (c. 30m E-W; c. 40m N-S) enclosed by stone wall. No longer in use, last burials in 1930s; inscribed headstones to S of church of 19th and 20th century date; many rows of low uninscribed gravemarkers.
