Grave Yard in County Cork, Ireland is a small wedge-shaped graveyard where rows of low, uninscribed markers lie beside newer headstones from the 19th and 20th centuries. Tradition holds that it is the burial place of the MacCarthys, Lords of Gleannacronin, giving the quiet stones a claim to proud and forgotten life. The church wall joins the northern boundary, as if the living and dead still share one enclosed place.
