Grave Yard occupies the former Drishane Convent grounds in County Cork, where the oldest inscribed headstones date to 1725 and a nun's burial area lies to the east. The site grew from a small rectangular plot into a much longer strip by 1936, suggesting continued use rather than abandonment. The ruined parish church at the north end anchors the place in ordinary parish life, not mystery.
