Grange Castle

Grange Castle climbed a thirty-five foot limestone ridge called Ceathair Chinn Chon, meaning four dog heads, where kings of Cashel once watched the valley below. Men built thick walls around that natural fortress, but time broke the walls and men carried the stones southwest to raise another house. The rock remains sharp and visible, preserving the shape of a castle that no longer exists.
