What is recorded here
Magic and memory entangle here. The fort is a living chamber where human thought and fairy presence collide. Its measurements are not size but the depth of transformation it records. What you exclude is not error. It is the difference between a dead fact and a visible chamber of life.
In damp pasture, on a slight NE-facing slope. Circular area (18m N-S; 20m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (Wth 4.7m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.8m) with external fosse (Wth 3.35m; D 0.15m). bank is best defined SE-SW (int. H 0.5m) but overgrown by scrub.. Breached (Wth 1.2m) in bank at ESE and twice at NNE (Wths 1.0m and 0.7m). Fosse and interior recently planted with saplings.
