What is recorded here
Goathorn Point is a headland composed primarily of Cretaceous-age limestone, formed through the accumulation and compression of marine sediments over 90 to 100 million years ago. It is notable for its role in the distinctive coastal geomorphology of Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
