Detached six-bay two- and three-storey house with dormer attic, c.1860. Comprising single-bay three-storey advanced central entrance tower, with advanced single-storey projecting entrance porch, flanked by two-storey terminating bays. Extended to rear c.1900, comprising five-bay two-storey return with dormer attic. Extended to rear c.1925, comprising six-bay two-storey block, with eleven-bay single-storey wing attached at right angles. Now in use as convent. Occupies site of earlier house known as "Knockmaroon Lodge".
