Glen Chapel Holm is associated with a medieval holy well and chapel, traditionally linked to Saint Fillan, a 7th-century Irish monk known for founding several Scottish religious sites. The well was historically visited for its supposed curative properties, particularly for ailments of the eyes and skin.
