Gillaburn

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Gillaburn as Chambered Cairn (neolithic). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Gillaburn is a Neolithic chambered cairn, dating to the early to middle Neolithic period (c. 3500–2500 BCE). Such tombs are significant as they represent early communal burial practices and social organisation in prehistoric Scotland.
