What is recorded here

No stones remain in Kildrumsherdan, County Cavan, yet a long, narrowing chamber once lay hidden beneath the soil. That shape suggests a megalithic tomb where people may have placed their dead before the land took it back. The grave has vanished, but its dimensions still point to a chamber large enough for a life to enter and disappear.

There is no trace of a structure at the site now. According to the OS Memoirs for County Cavan there was a 'Giant's Grave' 40 feet(c. 12.2m) long and 12 feet (c. 3.65m) wide narrowing to 4 feet (c. 1.2m) here in the 1830s. This may have been a megalithic tomb.
