Giants Grave

Located in rough pasture on a shelf, which is on the NE-facing slope of a Saddle Hill. This monument consists of a single chamber (dims 2.6m NE-SW; 1.6m NW-SE) formed of three slabs (max. H 0.5m) and open to the SW, with a double wall formed from a single slab (L 2.9m) on the SE side. A portal dolmen dating to the Neolithic period. It represents a rare surviving example of megalithic funerary architecture in the region.
