Wreck

What is recorded here

The National Monuments Record of Wales records Georges Andre as Wreck from the Modern period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
Georges Andre was a French steamship that ran aground on the Lleyn Peninsula in Wales in 1923. The vessel was carrying a cargo of coal and, although the crew was rescued, the ship was severely damaged and later broken up; its wreck remains as a recorded historic site in Wales.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
