What is recorded here

Gateway, c.1900, comprising pair of limestone ashlar piers (shared to south-east) with plinths, shallow pyramidal capping, and decorative cast-iron double gates. Road fronted.
An attractive gateway of simple appearance incorporating fine stone work to the piers, together with early-surviving decorative cast-iron gates, which enhance the design quality of the composition. The gateway forms an appealing feature in the street scene of Newtown Road.
