What is recorded here

Pair of cast-iron gates with cast-iron piers and railings, c. 1835, set in roughly dressed stone wall having ashlar limestone copings. Stone cobbles leading from road to entrance.
This entrance forms part of a notable group with the related terrace of four houses to the east and was clearly executed by skilled craftsmen. The materials utilised in the construction of these gates, and the set of stone cobbles, contrast with the modern materials which are utilised elsewhere in the streetscape.

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
