Rubble stone screen wall, c.1850, with segmental-headed integral carriageway having rubble stone voussoirs.

This section of rubble stone screen wall is of interest, representing the traditional method of constructing boundary walls. The wall retains its original or early lime mortar, while the integral carriageway that has retained its original shape is of some technical interest. The wall and carriageway are an attractive feature on the laneway accessing the grounds to rear of the properties flanking the road leading out of Ballitore to the south.
