In 'Riding the Franchises 1603' prepared by J. T. Gilbert from the Calendar of Ancient Records of Dublin , Vol.1 includes a Down Survey (1655-6) composite map for County Dublin which shows 'a place called the Ould Gallows'. Not precisely located.
