What is recorded here

Two stones, one tall and one stubby, still face each other across four metres of grass at Gallauns. They sit on a low hill above the Argideen river, tilted slightly as if listening for a voice lost before written history. The larger stone rises two metres while its partner reaches only half that height, creating an imbalance that invites wonder rather than explanation.

Situated to W of top of low hill overlooking Argideen river. Stones, aligned NE-SW, stand 4m apart, exposed in face of field fence; overall length 6.4m. NE stone is 0.8m L, 0.2m T and 1.5m H.
