One stone still stands on the saddle below Barraduff Mountain, a flat rib of rock catching the sky while its partner lies buried in peat beside it. The pair may have marked a boundary, a burial or a bargain between people who no longer speak. Whatever they meant, the mountain still passes through them, and the grass grows over both like forgetfulness.

In rough grazing, on a level saddle leading S from Barraduff Mountain. An upright stone (dims. 1.8m x 0.22m; H 1.9m), almost rectangular in plan and orientated NE-SW. A second stone (L 1.8m; Wth 1.1m) lies prostrate c. 1m to the N and is partially embedded in peat. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
