What is recorded here

Gallaun is a 3.43 metre standing stone in Glanleam, County Kerry, where a later fort or house garden claimed the older marker. Packing stones and a leaning slab hold it upright today, though Chatterton wrote in 1839 that it shook easily. The place layers centuries into one corner, forcing every visitor to ask whether the fort, the garden, or the stone came first.
