In rough pasture, on the lower N-facing slopes of Mucksna Mountain, overlooking Kenmare Bay to the N. An upright stone, named 'Gallaun' is indicated here on the 1846 OS 6-inch map. There are no visible remains of this stone. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
