Gallaun

Aligned N-S on its long axis, this stone stands in boggy ground about 250m S of Derreendarragh river. Tapering towards a rounded top, it stands 1.84m high and measures 2.85m x .7m at base. Four packing stones are visible at the base of its E side. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
