What is recorded here

Gallán was a single standing stone in County Cork, marked on the 1938 map but absent from earlier surveys, now removed without visible trace. It may have stood as a boundary, memorial or gathering place, yet human hands or time erased it. The land keeps no stone for us to touch, only the gap where presence disappeared.
