Gallan is a vanished standing stone on the north side of a road west of a fork in County Cork, Ireland. Local memory claims the word Dromdaleague sat inscribed on its surface, yet no trace remains for a stranger to touch or photograph. The stone may have been broken, buried or simply forgotten after the road changed, leaving behind a name that still points to an absent marker.

On N side of road just W of fork of two roads. No visible surface trace. According to local information, the word 'Dromdaleague' was inscribed onstone. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
