What is recorded here

Gallán is a fallen standing stone in County Cork, Ireland, lying two metres long on the lawn south of Leades House. It escaped the 1842 and 1904 maps, hiding in plain sight among grass and gardens while Leades House watched over it. The stone may have marked a boundary, a memory or a warning before people stopped asking it questions. Now it rests like a tired giant, waiting for someone to notice the shape of what it lost.
