Gallán is a standing stone in County Cork, Ireland. Its present location is known, but the history and meaning behind it are not yet recorded. The stone may have marked a boundary, a meeting place, a memorial or a sacred spot. People may have gathered there to pray, trade, remember the dead or watch the sky.
