Gallán is a quartz standing stone in County Cork, Ireland. It stands 1.74m tall on a south-facing pasture slope, yet it occupies a new position 100m south of where it originally belonged. The stone has been moved, likely during field work or boundary changes, and now marks a different line in the landscape. Its brightness still catches the eye, but its history has been displaced along with it.

Likely dating to the Early Christian or later prehistoric period, the stone may be associated with a local saint or land division. Its displacement suggests possible realignment or reuse in a later boundary context.
