What is recorded here

Gallán is a 2.3m upright stone on a western slope in County Cork, positioned between a wedge tomb and an anomalous stone group. Its subrectangular shape and solitary placement suggest it marked a boundary, guided the dead, or witnessed rituals now lost to time. The stone remains exposed on the break in the slope, waiting for someone to read what its position still insists upon.

On break in W-facing slope, c. 10m S of wedge tomb (CO060-079001-) and c. 35m N of anomalous stone group (CO060-079001-). Stone (H 2.3m; 1.4m x 0.2m) is subrectangular in plan, in upright position.
