What is recorded here

Gallain is a standing stone in a level Cork marsh, one of three marked on an old survey but erased from the ground around 1973. The stones vanished, perhaps pulled for roadwork or profit, leaving behind a clean hole in human memory. What remains is a ghost address, a coordinate pointing at nothing but wet grass and the certainty that someone removed the markers before the world could remember them.
