What is recorded here

Gairdín Gharraí na Leadhb in County Tipperary marks the former Clonmel Fever Hospital Cemetery, where people died of fever in the latter half of the nineteenth century. The garden exists to remember them, not to decorate a forgotten corner. Behind its quiet surface lies a brutal medical truth: heat, delirium and death came so often the hospital needed its own burial ground. To walk there is to enter a place where joy must be tempered with witness.
