What is recorded here

Gad Cliff is a sea cliff located in Dorset, composed primarily of Jurassic limestone, dating to the Middle to Upper Jurassic period, approximately 160 to 150 million years old. It formed through the accumulation of marine sediments in a shallow tropical sea and is notable for its exposure of the Charmouth Mudstone Formation, which is significant for fossil-rich deposits and geological research.
