G Yd is a rectangular graveyard in County Cork where late 18th-century headstones still mark occasional burials beside the ruined Clondulane parish church. An abandoned schoolhouse stands immediately east, its broken windows facing the graves like a forgotten witness. The place holds death, learning and abandonment in one narrow space, suggesting that even forgotten buildings continue participating in the lives of the dead.

Approached by avenue from road to N. Roughly rectangular graveyard (c. 70m N-S; c. 50m E-W) with entrance at NE corner. In occasional use; headstones date from late 18th century. South of centre is ruin of C of I parish church of Clondulane (14712) on site of earlier church (CO036-006003-). Immediately E of graveyard is abandoned building: 1-storey, 5-bay, with central 1-bay gable-fronted breakfront containing door; double sash windows; hipped roof with two off-centre chimneys; probably structure which Lewis (1837, vol. 1, 356) refers to as school house 'lately built'.
