In tillage. Spread of burnt material now dispersed over most of northern end of field. Second fulacht fiadh (10617) immediately to N in adjacent field. Probably one of three fulachta fiadh (11256, 11257) recorded by Bowman (1934, 526) on Mr Philpott's land. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
