Fulacht Fiadh (Site of)

In marshy ground, on NW side of stream. Shown as 'site of' on 1936 OS 6-inch map. Probably the levelled fulacht fiadh recorded by Bowman (1934, 300) on J.J. Cronin's land. No visible surface trace. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
