What is recorded here

In marshy ground, beside well. Horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt material (L 11.8m; Wth 12.9m; H 0.65m); opening (Wth 4.9m) faces NNE. Two small low mounds of burnt material lie immediately opposite the opening. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
