In marshy ground, immediately E of spring. Irregular mound of burnt material (14m N-S; 15m E-W; H 0.8m); several depressions in mound may be result of recent digging. Probably one of three fulachta fiadh (11459, 11460) recorded in townland by Bowman (1934, 457). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
