In marshy ground, to S of stream. Overgrown horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt material (L 10m; Wth 14m); opening (Wth 4m) faces W. 'Pathway' extends through centre of mound from E-W. Spring to E. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
